PROEXPORT / INDUSTRIAL ROLLERS
Heavy-Duty Industrial Wheels & Guide Rollers | PROEXPORT
PROEXPORT heavy-duty industrial wheels, guide rollers, and drive rollers are engineered for automated guided vehicles (AGV), conveyor systems, overhead cranes, and heavy manufacturing lines. Combining cast iron, forged steel, or aluminum hubs with hot-cast Vulkollan® and polyurethane treads, they support dynamic loads up to 10,000 kg per wheel with minimal rolling resistance.

LINE PROBLEM SOLVING (PWE)
Precision that Eliminates Line Downtime and Web Defects
At PROEXPORT, we do not simply supply coatings — we solve specific engineering challenges for plant technologists and maintenance leaders.
PRODUCTION CHALLENGE
Line Issue
Tread debonding, flat spots, and bearing overheating on heavy automated transport vehicles operating under continuous duty.
PROEXPORT SOLUTION
Engineering Solution
Vulkollan® tread material hot-cast onto mechanically and chemically prepared steel hubs with silane bonding agents.
PLANT ROI RESULT
Measurable Effect
Zero tread delamination, minimal rolling resistance, up to 4x longer wheel service life, and lower battery consumption on AGVs.
SELECTION & QUALITY CONTROL
Pre-Production Specification & Quality Inspection
Every project — new fabrication or reconditioning — is executed according to strictly defined inspection points:
- Shore hardness verification (DIN ISO 7619-1).
- Bond peel test inspection between polyurethane and metal hub (DIN 53531).
- Concentricity and axial runout check on precision turning centers.
- Bearing fit tolerance measurement according to ISO standard.
Technical Acceptance Standards
| Inspection Dimension | Technical Significance |
|---|---|
| Geometry & Tolerances | Diameter calibration, radial/axial runout, and concentricity of bearing journals. |
| Coating Structure | Durometer Shore/HV verification, nominal thickness, and zero-porosity bonding. |
| Dynamic Balancing | Residual unbalance compensation in ISO 1940 Grade G 2.5 or G 6.3. |
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ)
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Why is Vulkollan® superior to standard polyurethane for heavy-duty wheels?
Vulkollan® exhibits the highest dynamic load capacity, minimal hysteresis heat buildup under heavy cyclic deflection, superior cut tear resistance, and outstanding resistance to permanent deformation.
Can used wheel cores be refurbished with a new polyurethane tread?
Yes. We strip the worn tread, inspect the hub and bearing bores, shot-blast the core, apply bonding primers, cast a new tread, and machine the running surface.
