Balancing conditions depend on operational RPM, core construction, and mounting bearings. Geometrical runout (TIR) and dynamic unbalance are separate physical phenomena: correcting one does not automatically resolve the other.

- Face diameter, barrel length, overall length, and weight if known.
- Machine documentation, covering material type, and process conditions.
